Dianna & Zachary Caringi | A Romantic Blush Wedding in Toronto

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

On September 4th, 2021 Dianna & Zachary celebrated their romantic blush wedding on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. Third time is definitely the charm, having postponed a couple of times to be able to celebrate their day just as they imagined. It’s such a joy for us to be able to share their story with you today!

About Dianna & Zack

Dianna & Zack’s love story began on May 28, 2013 at a Hollister interview at Fairview Mall in Kitchener. They were both invited to do a group interview to work a part time summer job at Hollister. Fate brought them together that day, Dianna shared, “ Who knew that walking into that group interview I would be sitting next to my future husband?”. When they walked into the store, they

sat waiting in the interview room and Zack shared, “We got to talking and I was immediately captivated by her amazing smile and warm, bubbly personality. After our interview was over, we continued talking and I could already tell there was something special about her. I remember being so nervous to ask her on a first date – and so excited when she said yes”.

Fast forward five years and Zack pops the next big question, asking Dianna to marry him. They are both avid travelers and have traveled to over twenty destinations during their time together so far! So of course, a destination proposal was a must-have for them. They got engaged at one of the most romantic destinations in the world! Zack proposed to Dianna on August 17, 2018 in Paris, France in front of the Eiffel Tower.

We love when our couples want to include personalized touches and tie in elements of their theme in their invitations. When designing the wedding invitations, they tied this romantic Paris proposal into the invites with an elegant Parisian theme. The French-inspired invitations included a photo of the couple on a white marble background.

While reminiscing over the last eight years, both couples shared how much they’ve grown together and their hopes for the future. Dianna said “as the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun, and boy is it ever true. I can’t imagine having a better partner in my life… throughout our journey together we have supported each other, loved each other, and been each other's best friends…I couldn’t have asked for a better partner by my side. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. As we continue to grow together and make more memories we are excited to start this new chapter of our lives.” Zack also reflected “our journey has only just begun, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! It’s amazing how sometimes the most insignificant decisions can have the most profound impacts on your life. An interview for a part-time summer job turned into something so much more. I met my soulmate and my best friend that day and I’m so thankful that I’m able to spend the rest of my life with her.”.

The Wedding Ceremony

Three years and three wedding dates later, September 4, 2021 finally came and Dianna & Zachary shared their vows to become husband and wife at their romantic blush wedding in Toronto. Their wedding theme was a modern, romantic elegance with blush pink and acrylic features.

The elegant & traditional ceremony took place at 1:30pm at St Mary’s Church in Toronto, a Roman Catholic church. The processional started with the bridal party including 8 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, the Maid of Honour, Best Man, Flower Girl & Ring Bearer. The bridesmaids looked flawless in their Bill Kevkoff dresses in petal pink from Lavande Bridal.

Following the wedding party processional, the beautiful bride entered the room with her grandpa walking her down the aisle to Pachabel’s Canon. The bride’s dress was a stunning Maggie Sottero dress with v-neck lace detailing on the bodice and a gorgeous sheath silhouette. She also had a spectacular cathedral length veil with beautiful lace detailing. There was not a dry eye in sight including Zachary who had tears in his eyes as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time.

The Wedding Reception

After wedding photos at Toronto’s Trillium Park, the party made their way over to Universal Event Space. This venue is spectacular and very fitting for the romantic blush wedding theme. It exudes luxury with how spacious and elegant it is - truly the perfect venue for this couple.

Following their signature cocktails of Pink Senorita and Aperol Spritz, the cocktail hour flowed into the reception. A sparkling wine toast to the couple started the night of amazing food and of course followed by dancing. Pearl Invitations designed custom menus to match the marble background of the invitations which added to their tablescapes.

The newlyweds opened up the dance floor with the early 2000s classic, “This I Promise You” by NSYNC. They partied the night away with DJ Danny D & Nick DeAmicis as well as a special performance by Armando!

The whole evening was a spectacular celebration of such an amazing couple!

About the Romantic Blush Wedding Stationery

We loved being a part of this Dianna & Zachary’s day. Dianna & Zachary’s wedding stationery was the perfect example of how tying in the theme of the wedding across all elements, creates an elegant & luxury touch. The wedding invitations started by giving that glimpse of the wedding theme to the guests and this was seamlessly carried through to the rest of the stationery.

We began with creating the Bridal Shower invitations. The bride requested a Tiffany & Co themed shower and we matched the invitations to include her photo as well as the classic Tiffany blue.

When it came to wedding invitations, we tied their engagement into the theme with Parisian inspired invitations. They were classic with white marble and a photo of the couple.

For the day of wedding stationery, one of my favourite things that we created were personalized cards to the wedding party and the family. The bride wanted to be able to write personalized notes to her family and wedding party for them to read on the day. This was such a sentimental and special idea!

Another creative idea was the “newly weds post” which was a newspaper themed card. These were given to all guests staying at the hotel in their welcome baskets. Such a lovely way to make your guests feel like VIPs and get them excited about the day!

We also created menus to match the white marble included on the wedding invitations to tie those together. Lastly, we also created thank you cards that were the same theme and inclu ded their monogram & white marble.

Testimonials from Dianna & Zachary

“Pearl Invitations were amazing to work with from start to finish! They were flexible, professional, easy to get a hold of and everything was always done on time. Susana and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding save the dates & invitations exactly how we envisioned them to be. She even created our Tiffany & Co themed bridal shower invitations as well as our menus for our wedding day. On top of that she even contributed to our guest welcome baskets who stayed at the Elements Hotel by creating a cute “Newly Weds Post” in a newspaper theme. We can’t thank them enough for everything that they have done to make our wedding day so perfect.”
